Within Nature

Saturday, May 1, 2021

My heart a leaf.
His words the wind.
Whole now,
rested in nature.
We hum to the beat of the sun
and snap our fingers along to
the birds who break branches for a nest. Lulled to sleep by the ooze
of the creek’s supple chorus.
